Britney's Next Single is CONFIRMED

Despite coming second last to Trouble For Me in our own poll (where He About To Lose Me came first), Criminal has been confirmed as Britney's Fourth single! Trouble For Me anyone?

Beyonce Confirms Preganacy

On Sunday, Beyonce confirmed her coming pregnancy. And our thoughts? We are furious. This technically proves that she isn't adopting the C.P. team and this kid is already more relevant than us. *Sigh*  Jokes aside, best of luck to Bey!

Video: Cheers - Rihanna

So what is it we have here... A tour video (Did It On Em anyone?) with a lot of forehead (apologies to you Rihanna for the shade) and that irrelevant Avril Lavigne gurl. Well isn't that just lovely! Watch it above and tell us your thoughts in the comments section!

Video: Beyonce - 1+1

Oh yeah, Beyonce released a new video... At least she looks good in it?

King and Queen Of Pop - Has Pop Royalty Died?

For years now, Michael Jackson and Madonna have been named the King and Queen of Pop. These titles have never been so much as doubted but through the various long winded internet articles and arguments over on-line forums, a recurring theme arose: Who will replace the the current Queen and King of Pop?

iPod Essentials

This week, we decided to explore a theme in our iPod essentials which features ex lovebirds, Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears. Check it out here!

Britney Spears Fourth Single

"Trouble For Me...? TROUBLE FOR ME? WHAT IS THIS TRAGIC MESS?" Yes, we are thinking it too. Speculation has grown that "Trouble For Me" is the 4th and possibly final track to be released of Britney's 7th album "Femme Fatale". Despite a recent Facebook poll which offered fans to vote for the next single from the three options of "Criminal", "Drop Dead (Beautiful) Feat. Sabi" and "Inside Out", all of which are produced by the infamous, Dr Luke...

Song of the Week!

About time J-Hud put those pipes to use. This week's song of the week is "Night of Your Life" by David Guetta and Jennifer Hudson off Guetta's forth coming album, "Nothing But The Beat". Accompanied by the usual Guetta feel and a large helping of Rihanna's "Only Girl", this song is a huge club-banger. Check it out below!

Lady Gaga and the You and I video

Admist the leak of some video stills and forums and twitter timelines blowing up, Lady Gaga tweeted three words; "Fuck", "Thurs" and "day". Two hours later, the bizarre Edward Scissor Hand like video was uploaded to her official YouTube account. Read on to hear our opinions and watch the video!

Artist of Month - Gypsy and the Cat

So basically, we adore these guys. They're an Australian electro-pop duo, who have been dominating our iPods for two years. Originating from the Melbourne club scene, they having been starting to get airplay since 2010...

The Saturdays - All Fired Up

We where planning on ignoring the latest effort from The Saturdays but for some amazing reason, we haven't been able to escape this auto-tuned mess...

Nicole Scherzinger - Wet (Video)

We really do feel sorry for Nicole Scherzinhdegifger. She can sing reasonably well, dance reasonably and looks pretty darn hot too. So why can't she be successful? Who knows...

Jessie J - Who's Laughing Now

Could there be any better time to release a video which shows someone smashing up a building? Well, J-J-J-Jessie J would disagree...

Wednesday 10 August 2011

Beyonce - 4

Well, back in June, "4" leaked and we eagerly listened to it, excited by the prospect of some flawless vocals and great beats with the exception of the mess that was "Run The World (Girls)."...

Moves Like Jagger - Maroon 5 and Little Miss Ego

We at Criticizing Pop hate many things. Weak choruses, bad artwork, tacky videos, that fine line between following a trend and copying but what lies above all of those irrelevant issues is one woman. A small blonde woman whose ego is big enough to give Kanye West a run for his money. Yep, you guessed it... Christina Aguilera...

Nipple Minaj...

Nipple Nicki Minaj graced the stage at last Friday's Good Morning America concert performing Super Bass and the likes, showing off her unusual "rapping" skills. Little did she know, that wouldn't be all she would be showing off during Where Dem Girlz At...

Katy Perry and the Desperate Attempt For Relevancy

Well, well, well. If it isn't Katy, Queen of Cultural Irrelevancy. So here is the story: KP has never won a Grammy, a MTV VMA and her second album (although peaking at number 1) only shifted 192,000 units in it's first week in the US. * Brandishes the 1,100,000 Born This Way sales reciepts.*  So what else can Katy do to add something to her non-existent legacy?

Friday 22 July 2011

Rebuking our VMA banter.

Judas should have been nominated for everything. Adele isn't that fat and Katy Cummy Perry is still a whore.

Thursday 21 July 2011

So the VMA nominations are out...

Well, when we heard that Katy Cummy Perry was helping announce the awards, we had a feeling that... Well let's just say, we don't just call her Open-Leggy-Perry for no reason. That in mind, here are the nominations for all the voting categories:

The MTV VMA's.

On the eve of the release of the eagerly awaited MTV Video Music Awards 2011, we at CP thought we would compose a list of what will be nominated for the main 5 awards with our personal favourite video in bold factored in with what will win. Enjoy.

Announcement.

We at C.P. are now considering moving to a different blog host. We are creative people who have an abundance of ideas for the site in which are current blog hoster cannot fulfil. We will be recreating a site as soon as possible and giving you many reviews, and we will explore what else we can do such as competitions once we have a fully set up site and enough readers.

Sorry for all the hassle but we will be back.

Born This Way - Review

Finally, after a leak on Wednesday morning, Interscope could protect it no more. Born This Way had leaked, 5 hours before it was set to stream legally online. The normal edition was swiftly followed by the leak of the special editions tracks. So has Lady GaGa set her aims to high, pronouncing this as album of the year? Has she achieved this grand but controversial statement? I, Robert (MonsterRobert), have reviewed the entire album. Enjoy.

Born This Way - Anticipation

In the words of the great philosopher Rebecca Black, "We is so excited!" Could this album finally cement Lady GaGa's position as ruler of the roost? Keep reading as we analyze EVERYTHING Born This Way related; performances, artwork, track-listings, singles, previews, videos, EVERYTHING. Enjoy!

Jennifer Lopez - Love? Review

The original booty shaker? Who knows. All I knew about her was that her career was as extinct as Xtina's. HOWEVER, this album begs to differ (well about 4 tracks do, the rest aren't exactly "ear candy" to say the least...). Check out my review (@MonsterRobert) of the album!

Natalia Kills – Perfectionist Review

Well Natalia Kills or Natalia or Kills or N.K. Verz, Verbalicous, Natalia
Cappuccini or... tell you what, decide for yourself. Well we got Hannah, (@NataliaKILLEDme), yeah - she isn't biased - to critique Perfectionist. Here is what she had to day about the axe wielding woman herself:

Britney Spears - Femme Fatale Review.

Well, well, well. If it isn't Britney, bitch. Goddess of Pop or Queen of Flop? (Just in case Xtina passes away...) Read the following track by track review by Becky (@TheRebeccaC)
